Anna Kleban

Anna Kleban served as secretary of the American Academy for Jewish Research for many years. She was integral in coordinating the Refugee Research Fellowship Program. She also worked as librarian at the Jewish Theological Seminary and assistant to Alexander Marx, head librarian at the time. Kleban was known for her expert knowledge of the JTS library special collections. She frequently gave lectures on rare books and manuscripts and assisted researchers in their work.
